Nar Cabico dedicates special song to his mother

Kapuso singer and comedian Cabico shared a very special performance on his Instagram account.

While in a park with his guitar, he sang “I’ll Always Love You” by Michael Johnson.

Despite being released back in 1979, the song enjoys airplay in the Philippines and remains a big hit. It has also been covered by Filipino singers like Regine Velasquez and Martin Nievera.

Nina has also recorded the song as the theme song of 2006 movie I Will Always Love You from GMA Films starring Richard Gutierrez and Angel Locsin.

Nar dedicated the performance to his mother who is celebrating her birthday.

Aside from greeting his mother, Nar also shared why the song is so special to him.

“This is the first song my mama taught me how to play on the guitar. Happy Birthday, mama! Labyu, solid!” he wrote.
